HUMPBACK WHALE
In common with all baleen whales, the humpback whale has
large jaws and a long head in relation to the rest of its body. It
has widely spaced throat grooves and knoblike projections on
the upper and lower jaws. Despite its great size, it is an energetic
swimmer and often breaches spectacularly.
