If you wander through this area, sooner or later you will emerge onto
Piazza della Rotonda with its jumble of open-air café tables in front
of the Pantheon. The refreshing splash of the fountain makes it a
welcome resting place. In this warren of narrow streets, it can be hard
to realize just how close you are to some of Rome’s finest sights. The
