2.29 to 2.31, it is clearly displayed that the stress-strain curves of the tested specimens

                   are strain rates dependent. The hybrid composite recorded the intermediate properties
                   between glass and hemp fibres as shown in Figure 2.31. It is interesting to note that

                   hardening rate of glass and hemp are similar up to strain rate of 1376 s . However,
                   hemp laminate exhibited the lessen rate of hardening with the increasing strain rates

                   as shown in Figure 2.32. The mute rate hardening in the case of hemp resulting from
                   the internal failure process occurred at lower stress as well as the nature of natural

                   fibres from microscopy point of view [109].
