Leave Matters
Do you know that you are entitled to
14 days of ordinary sick leave
Leave Scheme
Ordinary Sick leave (OSL) Up to 14 days in a calendar year with no
(including hospitalisation leave) hospitalisation) or 60 days ( Inclusive of 14
daysOSL ) if officer is warded in a hospital.
If you are a married female and have consumed
maternity leave in a calendar year, you will be
eligible for full-pay sick leave of up to 30 days
in the calendar year, regardless of whether
you are warded in a hospital or not.
Officers can also take up to 2 days of OSL
without the need of MC per year. You are
required to inform your supervisor that you
are taking OSL without MC.
Extended Sick Leave (ESL) If officer is still certified unfit for duty after
using the OSL Hospitalisation Leave (HL), the
officer may then utilise the Extended Sick
Leave. The eligibility is dependent on the
years in service. Please note that ESL is
granted on calendar day basis which includes
weekends and public holidays.
Special Sick Leave (SSL) Special Sick Leave is applicable to EOs who
already utilised your OSL and ESL. The SSL is
cap at 15 calendar days per year. MENAAMI
