                                                                                                    What are the incentives of investing in free zones?
                                                                                                    The incentives are in the article 24, of the Law 8-90.The

                                                                                                    What is the procedure and timeframe for the
                                                                                                    establishment as a free trade zone?
                                                                                                    It lasts approximately 30 days from the date in which the
                                                                                                    required documents are received.The permission of operation
                                                                                                    is granted by the National Free Trade Zones Council.
                                                                                                    ¿Are there different kinds of Industrial Parks?
                                                                                                    There are three types of industrial parks: public, private and
                                                                                                    mixed.The public parks are regulated by the Development
                                                                                                    and Industrial Competitiveness Center (PROINDUSTRIA), the
                                                                                                    private parks are runned by private companies and the mixed
                                                                                                    ones are runned by non-profit organizations.
                                                                                                    Which productive areas stand out in the free trade
                                                                                                    zones?
                                                                                                    25 % devotes them to the textile manufacture. Other products
                                                                                                    are: footwear and leather goods, cigars, jewels, medical,
                                                                                                    electronic products,software, data handling and call centers.
