(2) The Chairman shall preside at all meetings of the Board.

(3) The Board shall meet at such places and times as the Chairman may
appoint and at any meeting of the Board three (3) members shall form
a quorum. Meetings held physically or on any other valid digital or
online platforms shall constitute as a valid meeting held.

(4) The Chairman shall have a casting vote.

(5) The Board shall have the power to determine its own procedure.

PART III

OBJECTS OF THE FUND

Objects of the 5. The objects of the Fund shall be:
Fund
(a) to perpetuate the good name of Tan Sri Abdullah Salleh;

(b) to provide financial assistance to all students irrespective of race,
religion or creed;

(c) to provide financial assistance to former students of Malacca High
School who are confirmed to pursuing tertiary education or education

in institutions of higher learning in Malaysia;

(d) to provide financial assistance to current students of Malacca High
School who are confirmed to pursuing secondary and pre-tertiary

education in Malaysia;

(e) to provide financial assistance to any member of eligible public of
Malaysian citizenship who are confirmed to pursuing tertiary
education or education in institutions of higher learning in Malaysia;

(f) to improve the standard of education specifically tertiary education
in all disciplines in Malaysia.

6. The Board shall have the power to do all things expedient or reasonably
necessary or incidental for the carrying out of the objects of the Fund.
