SUGGESTED AMENDS TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF TAN SRI

               ABDULLAH SALLES SCHOLARSHIP FUND (TSASSF)

               Highlighted Colours

                   1)  Yellow – amendments to a particular clause
                   2)  Aqua – new clauses inclusion


               Introduction

               From the current Rules and Regulations of TSASSF, the Fund is totally independent of MAHSOPA. The
               only link is the members of Board of Trustee which are the President and the 2 appointed members
               by the President from the MAHSOPA Executive Committee.
               The members of MAHSOPA and Executive Committee of MAHSOPA as a whole has not much of say
               in the administration and managing of the Fund.

               Reading carefully the current Rules and Regulations is merely to comply the requirements for tax-
               exemption by IRB.

               The proposed amendments are for better management of the Fund and greater accountability.


               AMENDMENT NO 1

               THE BOARD - Constitution of the Board been expanded from current 3 (President and 2 Executive
               Committee Member appointed by the President) to 5.

               The 5 shall be:

               Chairman: MAHSOPA President
               2 Board members from MAHSOPA Executive Committee and one of them shall serve as Secretary of
               the Board

               For more balance and greater accountability, 2 additional Board members to be appointed shall be:

               One of the MAHSOPA Trustee
               One of MAHSOPA members not serving on the MAHSOPA Executive Committee



               AMENDMENT NO 2

               OBJECTS OF THE FUND –

               Expanded to include former MHS students pursuing tertiary education; current MHS students for
               their secondary and pre-tertiary education. Also expanded to include non-MHS students pursuing
               tertiary education.
