(4) The Board may cease to provide, maintain or assist any recipient of
an award under the Fund who contravenes or fails to comply with the
terms or conditions imposed by the Board in accordance with these
Rules and Regulations or if it appear5s to the Board that a further
pursuance of his/her studies is not advantageous or reasonable by
reason of his/her unsatisfactory scholastic progress, misconduct or ill
health.
Condition of 9. Before making any award under the Fund the Board may impose such
award conditions as it deems necessary.
PART V
SELECTION OF RECIPEINT(S)
Selection of 10. The Executive Committee of MAHSOPA and its relevant sub-Committee
recipient(s) shall assist the Board with the selection of receipient(s). Such selection
criteria shall be duly approved by the Board prior to any selection process
commences.
11. The Executive Committee of MAHSOPA and its relevant sub-Committee
shall provide the Board with names of the proposed recipient(s) with its
recommendation.
12. The Board at its discretion may decide to further evaluate the proposed
names of the recipients.
13. The Board shall maintain a separate account for the Fund. The Board
Accounts
shall operate a bank account in the name of the Fund. All cheques shall be
signed by two members of the Board with the Chairman as the compulsory
signatory.
14. Such account shall be audited by the internal auditors of MAHSOPA and
the accounts shall be duly tabled at the annual general meetings of
MAHSOPA.
15. In the event the Fund attains tax-exempt status the Board shall ensure
all the prescribed requirements for administration, accounting and audit
shall be met set forth by Inland Revenue Board (Jabatan Hasil Dalam Negeri)
Amendments 16. Any amendments to these Rules shall be tabled at the annual general
meeting of MAHSOPA. As a tax-exempt Fund it would further subject to
the approval of the Director-General of Inland Revenue.
