Struktur Teks
Karena kedua teks tersebut sama-sama memerankan fungsi sosial
‘mempromosikan’, maka terdapat kesamaan di antara keduanya, yaitu
dalam penyusunan struktur teksnya. Analisis terhadap kedua teks di atas
menunjukkan struktur berikut ini:
(1) Penyebutan nama dari obyek, bagian-bagiannya, atau obyek lain yang
terkait. Terkait dengan model busana santai untuk remaja, disebutkan
kata-kata Rina, a model, the casual dress, she, a mole, her cheek, it, hair,
photo shooting. Terkait dengan posisi sebagai ketua OSIS, disebutkan
kata-kata Rina, the chairwoman of our OSIS, ideas to improve this school,
many students, Indonesian figures, our wall magazine.
(2) Penyebutan sifat atau hal-hal yang terkait dengan obyek, dengan
menggunakan kata kerja sepertibe (is, are), look, dan have.

dengan obyek, dengan menggunakan kata kerja yang sesuai dengan
fungsi sosial yang hendak dicapai.
