TRIM This control features a non ‑ trim handle and a 15 ft. (4.58 M) harness with
Amp connector and will direct connect to the engine models below without
SIDE MOUNT REMOTE CONTROL- 14 PIN the use of an Adapter harness.
For MY2005 and newer, 8/9.9, 15/20 HP FourStroke Outboards with electric start
and non‑trim.
For MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke Outboards SAE T/S cables must be
used.
For 8/9.9 FourStroke engines generation change above S/N OR192772 and 15/20
FourStroke engines will use GEN I cables.
GEN II cables must be used on other engines.
SIDE MOUNT REMOTE CONTROL

This control features non ‑ power trim and a 15ft. (4.58m) harness with 14 pin
Deutsch connector.
Fits all current Mercury/Mariner Outboards 6 HP and above (without power trim),
and 1993 and newer Force Outboards 40 HP and higher utilizing Mercury cables
(without power trim).
When used with a MY2005 and newer 8/9.9, 15/20 FourStroke Outboard an
Adapter harness is required. 2 pin connector is now included to allow for use of
SmartCraft accessories with analog gauges. 881170A 7 246.71

Fits Mariner 30 to 55 HP (Japanese origin) except 30/40 HP (2 cyl.) with integral oil
injection.

SWITCH

These outboard controls have an ignition stop switch and lanyard stop
switch only. The controls can be mounted on port or starboard side and
provide a soft grip.

harness. This control does not have a warning horn and features push
throttle cable operation.
Fits Mercury/Mariner Outboards 20/25 HP (U.S. S/N 0G044026 and below;
Belgium S/N 9807908 and below).
GEN I cables must be used.

The control features a Toggle switch for remote shut off of the engine.
Fits current pull style throttle, manual start Mercury/Mariner 6/25 HP, 30/40
HP (2 cyl.‑ U.S. origin), 40 (3 & 4 cyl.) to 45 HP, 8/9.9, 15/20 HP FourStroke
models (1996 and newer), and Force 25 HP (3 cyl.)
