Power Steering Hose Connections
IMPORTANT: Avoid stress on the hose fittings, kinks in the hoses, and contact with moving parts. Install and route power
steering hoses exactly as specified.
Observe the following when making connections.
• Hoses must be routed to avoid contact with moving parts.
• Make hydraulic connections as quickly as possible to prevent fluid leak.
• Use care to prevent fiberglass dust or other debris from entering the system.
• Be careful not to cross‑thread or overtighten the fittings.
• Tighten both of the power steering hose fittings to the specified torque after connecting to the control valve.
