                                                     NC CUTTING RING

              Assembly instructions:
The Exmar NC-fittings must be pre-assembled
              by using the NC-assembly stud.

              Assembly stud:
              2 Sides 1. Pre-assembly
                                    2. Final assembly

              Tube recommendation:
The seamless precision tubes to DIN 17456/17458 should be made out of Stainless steel AISI
316 or similar. The tolerances are in accordance with D4/T3. The surface hardness should
not be more than Rockwell HRB 90 or Vickers HV 185.The tubes must be heat treated in
accordance with DIN 17458. The tubesurface should be free of any damages, careful handling
              is necessary.

              Tube preparation:
Cut off the pipe by using special cut-off saw fixture; deburr slightly and clean the pipe.
              Pre-assemby:

The prepared tube, the nut and the NC-ring should now be lubricated with Exmar grease but
only the frictioning areas of the ring and nut. Now press the tube into the pre-assembly part
of the assembling socket and hand-tighten the nut. Make sure that the tube is firmly pressed
against the stop in the socket.
Then fasten the nut with a spanner until a clear rise of the torque can be felt (appr. 1 turn) and
carry out another 1/4 turn beyond this point.
