The sound of a deafening slam occurred behind them, the doors they entered through
had disappeared, turning into a solid wall.
Suddenly, horns, large eyes, and disorganised fangs, sticking out of a muscular mass of a
monster charged at them. There were multiple, but Alejandro quickly leaped towards
them, swinging his sword as he danced across the air. In the blink of an eye, the demons
were beheaded. Monsters crowded the two as soon as they entered the place. Mika sliced
his way through badgering goblins. Alejandro easily decapitated a tumorous being, as it
squirmed in agony.
All of a sudden, Alejandro fell to the ground. Sharp pains pierced his temple. Mika
stabbed a mindless orc advancing towards Alejandro, diverting the attention from him.
“Get up!” he yelled across the room.
Alejandro massaged his forehead. It wasn’t just a sharp pain, he saw something.
He saw himself. He was writing on the wooden walls of a familiar room. Alejandro
smeared the oak surface with a crimson colour. It was blood, Alejandro was writing runic
shapes with blood. Alejandro has never done such a thing, not in the past, and certainly
not in the future. Whose memories were those - or was that what he was going to do,
somewhen in time.
“Help!” Alejandro heard mu ed wail in the distance. He picked up his blade and began
running towards it.
“Help…. Alejandro…” Mika murmured, his face turning purple. Alejandro saw a
grotesque, shadow-like creature strangling Mika - and the red rune writings on the wall
he had envisioned before. His eyes widened with fear. For once, the great Alejandro was
afraid.
