Monster

“Ughh, when the hell are we gonna find a creature?” Arnold complained.
As sunlight struggled to reach Bahram, Arnold, and Cox, they lit up their lamps to
continue their journey. While the unmotivated dungeoneers shambled their way
down the dungeon, they unexpectedly found a small dark figure a few metres ahead
of them. Having found their first creature, they were over the moon.
As they got closer to the figure, it slipped past them like a phantom. They lost sight
of the creature and so, they all stopped and looked around.
“Right there!” Bahram shouted as he saw a movement in the corner of his eye. They
were led to the one room the masters told them not to explore but they were too
focused on chasing the unknown creature.
“Thud!” a huge boulder slammed to the ground, their vision was covered by ashes
and their lamp slipped out of Cox’s hand. The lamp was covered by rocks and it was
pitch black. Cox freaked out and he frantically looked for the lamp. When the lamp
was finally retrieved, all they could see were heads of scaly lizard faces surrounding
them.
Arnold tightly gripped his claymore and swung it fiercely towards the little creatures
causing them to shriek. The whole dungeon started rumbling. The lizards seemed to
have summoned a superior creature that had caused the rumble.
A titanic creature with tentacles appeared out of the dark. It’s appearance exactly fit
the descriptions of a legend that Bahrams’s late parents always talked about.
Bahram said in awe “Tha… That’s the dreaded Sepron.” Sepron wrapped its
tentacles around Arnold’s and Cox’s chest and violently seized them. Bahram rushed
towards Sepron but it roared and triggered Bahram’s traumatic memory.
