From You, To You

                                                 ADRIAN DANIEL SUHENDA

               A sharp pain.

Then it all came ooding back to him.

Alejandro had always wanted to be a hero. Standing on a boulder while imagining that
he had just saved the world was rudely interrupted by that sharp pain. The sharp pain

that has been ever-present throughout his life. Flashes of an indigo-eyed warrior came
before young Alejandro. Flashes that perfectly painted a picture of what Alejandro

wanted to be, or rather, what Alejandro was soon to become.

“Ready mate?” Mika tapped his best friend’s shoulder. Alejandro nodded his head and
got back on his feet. The sharp pain has led him here, to go to this place. The pair gazed

at the magni cent, yet abandoned structure.

Myriad House. There’s a reason why it's called Myriad House. People call it that because

it is home to hundreds of demons, possibly even thousands. It was the most haunted
place on the continent, some might even conclude that the place is a direct pathway to

hell. Decay surrounded the house, a decay so contagious that the ground it was built
upon was corroded with deep cracks. Colour faded from the trees and grass, turning it

into a dull grey. The mansion was grand in design, with gothic pillars and elements.
Thick vines cloaked the house, yet the doors seemed nauseatingly inviting.

The determined hero opened the creaky oak doors to the dwelling of demons. Strong
gusts of wind welcomed them, reeking of corpses. Alejandro unsheathed his weapon,

revealing a jet-black claymore that glimmered in the moonlight. The two brave souls
looked around the room - dimly lit by candles, their shadows ickered against the

               wooden walls.
