(i) Sinar cahaya yang selari dengan paksi utama dibiaskan melalui titik fokus, F, selepas melalui kanta.
Light ray that is parallel to the principal axis will be refracted through the focal point, F, after passing through the lens.
(ii) Cahaya yang melalui pusat optik kanta tidak dibiaskan.
Light that passes through the optical centre of the lens is not refracted.
(iii) Sinar cahaya yang melalui titik fokus, F, akan muncul dari kanta selari dengan paksi utama.
Light ray that passes through the focal point, F, will emerge from the lens parallel to the principal axis.
