               Energy Saving Opportunities in Thermal Energy:

               1.  Thermic  Fluid  heating  system  consumes  app.  11000  Liters  of  HSD  per  month  which  is

               equivalent to 114, 015, 000 Kcal of heat equivalent to 132,575 KWH per month.

               2. Thermal Efficiency the TFH-3 is measured as 78.27%. Overall combustion Efficiency observed
               as  82.27%.  which  is  lesser  than  standard  combustion  efficiency  (Range  should  be  90-93%  in
               case of liquid fuels).

                   1.  Major reasons found for the lowered efficiencies are,
                          a.  Improper air to fuel ratio. Observed to 11.4% and should be near to 14%.
                          b.  Carbonization  inside  thermic  fluid  pipe  line  which  calls  for  excess  running  of

                              pumps & creates excess pressure drops.
                          c.  Suit formation (Stack temperature is very high in the range of 280-290°C) due to
                              incomplete combustion of fuel.
                   2.  Opportunities for conservation :
                       a. By improvement in thermal efficiency within the range of 85-90%, overall saving of
                       possible  App.  150,000  AED  Per  annum  (Data  needs  to  be  validated  since  monthly
                       consumption  data  is  not  clear  to  us,  we  have  measured  the  data  online  and  have
                       concluded).
                       b. Optimization of Output temperature of process side which will directly give saving.
                       For further steps for improvement, refer the detailed report and action plan.

                       (If management agrees to work on the thermal energy conservation, detailed study /
                       audit is required).

               Other Observations


                   1.  During audit we did not find earthing. We have round around the plant. No.of existing
                       earth pit are not addiquate for the total no. machines.
                   2.  We recommended that detail study is requiring for assessment of actual no. of earth pit.
                   3.  It  also  observed  that  existing  earth  pit  not  connected  in  grid,  for  safety  of  human  &
                       company
                   4.   Properly all earth pit should be connect in grid (Existing + Proposed).
                   5.  It’s recommended that there should be two fit empty space around panel is needed for
                       proper preventive maintain work, presently panels only approachable from front side.
