KEY LEARNINGS
Put together interdisciplinary teams
• Put together interdisciplinary teams of T-shaped and Pi-shaped members.
• Let the team members draw up their own T-shaped profiles and present them to one another.
• Develop a common vision of collaboration and adopt common values and rules.
• Create an atmosphere of trust and respect on the team.
• Involve all disciplines in the project work. Make sure that the technically relevant perspectives and
personality-related views are represented in equal measure.
• Visualize the different thinking preferences, such as with HBDI —this improves mutual understanding.
®
• Take advantage of the heterogeneity of the teams in the form of differing approaches, thinking preferences, and
background knowledge in a targeted manner in order to promote creativity.
• Identify weaknesses on the team. Define measures and develop team members’ collaboration skills step by step.
• Use the “Connect 2 Value” framework to implement your projects—fast and agile.
