6.6 Packaging
Another crucial aspect when get involved with the radi-
ation sources is packaging. In many cases applied to
the industry, the sources are not station in one place,
its move from one place to another place depending
on the activity implementation. Therefore, moving ra-
dioactive source to or from any places should be under
the know of regulatory body. There are some guideline
on packaging of radioactive source before transport.
Based on guideline, packaging of radioactive ma-
terial is divided into three category, Category I, Cate-
gory II and Category III. The label on the packaging is
dependent on the category as given in Figure 6.9,6.10
and 6.11 respectively.
