6.5 Zoning

Zoning is where the border determine two areas

according to the radiation level to ensure radiation safety
procedure is implemented. The zoning has been de-
fined as clean area, supervised are and control area.
The level of total dos for clean area is when each per-
sonal received each year is limited into 1 mSv. In the
supervised area is where the allowable radiation level
and exposure to the personal is varies depending or
not to the specific radiation protection procedure when
ever required. The zone falls in the category of control
area when there is available the specific radiation pro-
tection procedure where each personal is compulsory
to follow. The procedure include the rule for that area
concerning the level of radiation. The working proce-
dure should be established and its must clearly men-
tioned about the time of exposure and dose rate limit
for each personal.
