Cost related to the activity of any hindrance in production or process approaches,
quality planning, quality function deployment, and or complete quality enhancement issues
falling into a category of value adding activities.
So, we must analyze the problem to improve the quality of product and reduce the
cost. To reduce the flashing problem, we will construct the cause and effect diagram to
know the source of the problem.
IMPROVE
In the Improve phase, action plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are
identified. The collected data is analyzed, process capability, capability, inventory turns,
uptime, and take time are typical result. A segment that defines where solutions and ideas
may be generated and ruled on. Once a problem has been successfully identified, measured,
and analyzed for potential solutions, the results can be evaluated to solve the problem.
Injection molding is one of the most commonly used processing technologies for
plastics materials. Proper machine set up, part and mould design, and material selection can
lead to high quality production. This review outlines common factors to check when
preparing to injection mould components, so that costly mistakes can be avoided.
Sometimes problems occur in producing parts of the desired quality and there are visible
surface defects. Due to the complex interrelationship between the part and the mould, the
molding compound and the processing, it is often hard to recognize the source of the
problem to remedy it
