If vet exam or BTE not done:
1. E-mail or write a note for lead tech AND executive director
with a list of those pets that did not get the BTE and should
have (all pets without a vet exam on this visit get’s BTE’s).
2. Write the BTE or Vet exam (owner-approved) needed on
the tech board or treatment board in the treatment room
TODAY so that it does get done today.
Drill/Quiz for “Boarding Pet Phone Calls”:
1. Why do we do this procedure? What are the two reasons?
2. How does this procedure help YOU? The pet? The client?
3. In front of your trainer go through the steps listed above under “What to do” for at least one pet.
Actually personally call at least one real client with your trainer listening.
4. Get a pass when both you and your trainer are comfortable you can and will do this daily…..and it will be
perceived by clients as a friendly service, NOT A SALES CALL.
