how well they can put the animal at ease & calm them down. For a CVT, run them through their
               skills one after the other to demonstrate their skill sets. Give them a set of protocols and have
               them read it & perform the function quickly & easily.

               NOTE: DO NOT INTRODUCE THEM AROUND, GIVE THEM A TOUR, OR SPEND AN HOUR OR SO LOOKING AROUND, GETTING COMFORTABLE,
               ETC. YOU WANT TO ENSURE THEY CAN HANDLE JUMPING IN AND DOING THE JOB- THAT IS THE POINT OF THIS INTERVIEW. THIS IS TOUGH,
               THE JOB IS TOUGH- YOU WANT TO KNOW CAN THEY DO IT OR WILL THEY NEED THEIR HAND HELD?

               Once an applicant has passed through all of these steps, you then interview with any questions
               you would normally. Once you are satisfied, present the applicant to the Owner for final
               approval along with your recommendation- you should have two or three applicants you
               present for a single position & you want to note your choice & why on each along with all the
               information on the hiring process up to this point.

                                                 OWNER FINAL INTERVIEW
               As the Owner, you review all the prior screening tools & ensure they have been correctly applied. You
               should be presented with candidates, all of whom should be great additions to the team. Your questions
               are to get a feel for the individuals & make the final choice. You can ask whatever you want but some
               sample questions follow.

                   1.  What appeals to you the most about the (position name) position?
                   2.  What would you like to accomplish as the (position name)?
                   3.  What do you feel you could bring to our practice as the (position name) that would be
                       valuable to us?
                   4.  What uniquely qualifies you for the (position name) position with our practice?
                   5.  Describe a difficult problem that you tried to solve. How did you identify the problem?
                       How did you go about trying to solve it?
                   6.  Describe a time when you tried to persuade another person to do something that they
                       were not very willing to do.
                   7.  Think of a problem person you had to deal with, describe the situation and tell me how
                       you handled it.
                   8.  Can you give me an example of when you came up with a clever way to motivate
                       someone?
                   9.  Give me an example of a colleague/ vendor/ customer who was hard to communicate
                       with and tell me how you handled it.
                   10. Describe a time when you had to communicate some unpleasant feelings to a
                       supervisor.
                   11. What's been your experience of dealing with poor performance of subordinates?
                       Provide an example.
                   12. In your current position, what sort of decisions do you make without consulting your
                       boss?
                   13. Can you think of any major obstacles you had to overcome in your current position?
                       How did you deal with them?
                   14. What types of things have made you angry, and how did you react to those situations?
