Meetings and Administration - Purpose is to evaluate stats and ensure they are consistently up-trending
and programs created by the owner are being completed on schedule. All meetings will have a definite
defined purpose and agenda. At the same time the meetings are intended to strengthen relationships
between supervisors and juniors.
The ED will also give direction to subordinates to improve inferior stats or production and strive for
excellence:
o All routine meetings will end with:
Writtten action plan with deadlines
Scheduled date and time of next meeting with same individuals
o Provides Admin Meeting notes to owner by 8 AM on Tuesdays.
o Plan, write agenda, and organize staff meetings. Provides staff meeting notes to owner by 8 AM
Tuesdays.
o Meets with owner on Tuesdays at 9 AM for the weekly ADMIN MEETING. Presents clearly
defined weekly action plan at this meeting based on the previous week’s stats. Owner and ED
may edit or add to this plan.
o Conducts weekly EXECUTIVES MEETING on Tuesdays at 10 AM along with the owner, office
manager, client coordinator,. The weekly action plan is edited or added to during this meeting.
o Supervises weekly DEPARTMENT HEADS MEETING on Tuesdays at 11 AM. Director of medical
services, client coordinator, director of admin, lead tech, lead receptionist, and kennel manager
attends this meeting. The weekly action plan may be edited during this meeting
o Conducts the weekly STAFF MEETING on Tuesdays at Noon. The weekly staff meeting protocol is
followed along with handing out and briefly discussing the action plan that was written and
edited in above steps. The director of Admin keeps the minutes on during the staff meeting.
o Sends hard copy or e-mail of WEEKLY ACTION PLAN based off of the above Tuesday meetings to
owner by 5 PM Tuesday.
