“Zodiac was not only known for his series of murders but also for his frightening cross mark
hint that he left every time he killed someone. Worse yet, Dennis Radar, another kin to
psychos, always left a woman’s symbol at the crime spot. Jack the Ripper, Jeffrey Dahmer,
Harold Shipman and countless others. All of them left clues behind every of their murders
and this unknown murderer we are chasing is as such. Psychopaths have no intention to kill
people. They willingly like to confess their pain and anger by torturing innocent people to
death and leaving hints behind to stir fear amongst the public. No wonder there was no link
between Maria and Sophie. All he targeted was, a female teenager narrowed down by their
Zodiacs. We have to stop him, James. Before he makes another kill.
“If this murderer we’re talking about has no any intention of killing then, what would his
motive be? How are we going to track him down, sir?”
“First, we have to confirm whether Sophie was a Cancer”.
“She was, sir. When I checked Sophie’s college enrolments, I got to know that she was
Cancer. She stated it in her NCC registration form.”.
“Bingo! That code numbers were surely his murdering method. James, admitting both
murders involved adopted female teenagers at 19th Avenue Street, I need you to collect
intrinsic biodata of all such teenagers around the neighbourhood including their Zodiacs.
Be hasty. We’ve got to put this sinful son of a Hell behind bars”.
“Alright, sir. Off I go”.
Couple of hours later, James returned with complete details of all the female teenagers.
Gasped for air, he handed me over the set of files. I scurried my way and scooped onto my
chair, examining every detail of the females. Halfway through my thorough examination, I
heard James, calling me only to know that a lady was wanting to see me badly. I gestured
James to allow her in.
“Good day, sir. I’m Sarah and coming from St. Mary Jane home. Situations, nowadays are
different, sir. The children there are really having a tough time. Not enough food and water.
No blankets and pillows to doze off during the night and much more left. We’ve heard that
you run your own trust to help orphanage homes get through difficult situations. It would
really be grateful if you could help us a little from your trust, sir. Apologies for taking your
time”.
“Don’t be. Hold on ya. Just ask your children to fill in these forms and return them to me by
this coming Friday on the 27th of August. Also, give me your trust account number so I
could transfer the money from mine”.
