            Measures for Accommodating Tourists during

            Day 8-14


            5. Operational guidelines



               5.1   Tourists can only stay at the SHA+ accommodation they booked in advance which
                     must be the same one named on the application for Certificate of Entry (COE) in

                     their country. The accommodation cannot be changed when tourists arrive at the
                     three designated islands.
               5.2   For staff working at the front office, see more details at SOP3: Hotel Arrival,
                     measures for welcoming service at the hotel entrance. COVID Managers at SHA+
                     hotels should be the one who manage the service for tourists and provide reports
                     to the related agencies via the designated systems.
               5.3   COVID Managers and Hotel Health Volunteers need to check guests’ temperature,
                     travel history, and bring them to receive the 3  SWAB test as well as track
                                                                           rd
                     their travel in the Sealed Route within 14 days under the travel conditions of the

                     programme.
               5.4   Hotels must provide a divided zone between accommodation and other services
                     for AQ guests during their stay that do not mingle with other groups of guests.
                     Follow the guidelines of SOP5: Quarantine Area , measures for relaxing activities
                     in common areas within the hotels.
               5.5   Tourists must follow the D-M-H-T-T-A precautions, stay at SHA+ hotels and
                     travel within the designated areas of the three islands only.

               5.6  COVID Managers should recommend tourists to dine at the SAMUI+ restaurants
                     whose staff are fully vaccinated and have passed the designated training courses.
                     All these restaurants are registered with the local CCSA (They will have a SAMUI+
                     sign at the venues to show they are approved.)
               5.7   Public ferry boats can provide regular transfer services to Ko Tao and Ko Pha-ngan
                     for SAMUI+ tourists and general passengers on the same boats. The vessels must
                     follow the health screening and safety procedures and standards as well as
                     D-M-H-T-T-A precautions.
               5.8   Limit number of passengers on board to 60% capacity.

               5.9   Relatives, friends or other people living on Ko Samui or anywhere in Thailand can
                     stay with the tourists who join SAMUI+MODEL, but they must be fully vaccinated
                     and have a negative test result of RT-PCR test within 72 hours. They must also sign
                     the consent form.
