            Measures for Boat Transfers between Ko Samui,

            Ko Pha-ngan and Ko Tao


            5. Operational Guidelines



               5.1   Before the operation
                   -  All staff on the vessel must receive and pass the training course and practice,
                      following the SAMUI+ SOP.
                   -  Public ferry boats can provide regular transfer services to Ko Tao and Ko Pha-ngan

                      for SAMUI+ tourists and general passengers on the same boats. The vessels must
                      follow the health screening and safety procedures and standards as well as
                      D-M-H-T-T-A precautions.
                   -  Limit number of passengers on board to 60% capacity.




               5.2 At the port
                   -  Must have staff to perform health screening and temperature check.
                   -  Operational staff must always wear PPE while performing duties. (See more details

                      in INDEX section)
                   -  All staff on the vessels must attend and pass the training designated by Marine
                      Department and MOPH.
                   -  Limit number of passengers on board as appropriate to the vessel size and follow
                      the D-M-H-T-T-A precautions.
                   -  Inform all passengers about the travel safety instructions before every departure.
                   -  Hand wash gel with at least 70% alcohol, health hazard waste bag, and face masks

                      are provided in all vessels.
                   -  All vessel staff must undergo health screening and temperature check before start
                      working. Everyone working on duties must wear face masks all the time.
                   -  If there are toilets at the port, staff should provide the divided toilets for the tour
                      group and clean them every time after service and before the arrival of next tour
                      group. Cleaning area should include particular frequently touched surfaces such
                      as doorknobs, locks, faucets, using at least 70% alcohol-based disinfectant.
