            8. Cleaning operation



              -     Clean all seats and toilets at facilities, vehicles (if available), vessels and toilets on
                    vessels. The cleaning area should include particularly frequently touched surfaces
                    such as doorknobs, locks, faucets, toilet hoses, toilet seat covers, toilet lids and
                    toilet flushes with at least 70% alcohol-based disinfectant which is left to sit for 10
                    minutes.
              -     When cleaning, emphasize on:

                     *  Equipment that physically contacts directly with face, eyes, and mouth: masks,
                        regulators, BCDs, and oral inflators.
                     *  Equipment that has to be shared among divers: rental equipment.
                     *  Equipment with frequently touched surfaces: cylinders and fill stations.
              -     Clean equipment with solution as instructed by public health which include
                    hot water, soap water, bleach (sodium hypochlorite, naclo), quaternary ammonium
                    compounds (QACS, QUAT), alcohol, and chloroxylenol or PCMX. Choose the

                    appropriate solution and compatible with equipment.
              -     After completing the cleaning operation, staff take off PPE, collect all health-
                    hazard waste and bring them back to the points, designated by COVID-19 Centre of
                    Koh Tao and COVID-19 Centre of Koh Pha-ngan, to be disposed of properly
                    following the MOPH guidance.
              -     Use MOPH-recommended disinfectant formulation to clean cleaning tools and
                    equipment. Dry them off under the sun before reuse.

              1.    Staff, instructors/ divemasters, officers, and vessel staff must be fully vaccinated
                    (1 or 2 doses depending on types of the vaccines) for at least 2 weeks. REAL-TIME

                    (RT – PCR) test must be taken periodically as necessary.
              2.    Staff, instructors/ divemasters, officers, and vessel staff must attend and pass the
                    training courses approved by Marine Department and MOPH.
              3.    Instructors/ divemasters must attend and pass the training courses of disease
                    control and cleaning procedures from Public Health officers.
              4.    Instructors/ divemasters must attend and pass the training courses approved
                    by Scuba Diving Certification Organizations and the Department of Marine and

                    Coastal Resources.
              5.    Vessel staff must be licensed approved by the Marine Department.
