SAMUI MODEL
Measures for Managing Cooking Classes
1. Objective
To provide practical guidance for managing cooking class service within the area of
Ko Samui, Ko Pha-ngan and Ko Tao, following the standards of safety and leisure tourism.
2. Scope
This handout provides details of standard operating procedures for related agencies to help
them manage and provide accurate services for fully vaccinated foreign tourists, following
“SAMUI+ MODEL” rules and regulations. The tourists must stay in Ko Samui area at least
7 days and can join cooking classes from Day 8-14.
3. Related Agencies
3.1 Accredited SHA+ cooking schools, restaurants or similar establishments
3.2 Samui Public Health Office, Pha-ngan Public Health Office, and Koh Tao Public
Health Office
3.3 Koh Samui Hospital, Koh Pha-ngan Hospital, and Koh Tao Hospital
3.4 Other related agencies designated by local CCSA
4. Tools and equipment
4.1 Cooking classroom
4.2 Kitchenware and utensils
4.3 Ingredients and seasonings
4.4 Handheld infrared thermometer
4.5 Cleaning equipment
4.6 Disinfectant, alcohol-based cleansing gel
4.7 Face masks
