Present Continuous
The verb in the present continuous tense consists of three
parts:
verb stem +
perfect of auxiliary rahnā +
simple present of hōnā (hū, hA, hA).
The second part, the perfect of the auxiliary verb rahnā, is
inflected for number and gender. It gives the sense of the
English ‘-ing’.
The third part, the simple present of the verb hōnā (to be), is
person.
