Return to rolling the slab out until it’s the same

You will find that periodically turning the slab will
make rolling much easier and give you more control
over reaching the approximate shape that you
require.
With the roller guides still in place, position the
textured template on the slab and carefully roll it into the
clay.

Cut the shape out using a sharp knife. Discard the
excess clay from around the edge.

Test the size of the slab by placing the template over
the surface. If the slab still has some way to go before Peel the template o the surface. Take care doing this
being fully rolled out, reduce the size by roughly cutting – it can easily rip, but if you’re careful you can save it to
around the template and discarding the excess. use again.
