Return to rolling the slab out until it’s the same

Prepare a large block of clay – it must accommodate surface of the slab with a rib to compact the clay.
the size of your template, so estimate accordingly.
Working on a sheet of plastic, reduce the bulk of
the clay by beating it with the side of your rolling 4
pin. Work in measured, even strokes from one side
of the clay to the other, to avoid making deep
          grooves in the surface.
Roll out the clay between the roller guides, making
sure it will adequately accommodate the texture
          template.
You will find that periodically turning the slab will

make rolling much easier and give you more control
over reaching the approximate shape that you
          require.
With the roller guides still in place, position the
textured template on the slab and carefully roll it into the

excess clay from around the edge.

Test the size of the slab by placing the template over
the surface. If the slab still has some way to go before Peel the template o‚ the surface. Take care doing this
being fully rolled out, reduce the size by roughly cutting – it can easily rip, but if you’re careful you can save it to
around the template and discarding the excess. use again.
