 Run your fingers around the scalloped edge of the
slab, to smooth and round it o .
 Again, run your fingers around the scalloped edges of
8 the slab to neaten them up.

 Lay the second sheet of plastic over the surface of the
slab and smooth it over gently so that there are no
creases in it.
Place the template marked ‘mould’ on the slab,
9 making sure it’s central, then lightly mark the
position with a pin.

 Turn the slab over, sandwiched between the two
sheets of plastic, and then peel the bottom sheet o .

 Gently smooth over the back of the slab with a rib.
DO NOT apply too much pressure; it will spoil the texture
on the underside! .
