Professional Development Package (PDP)
          If an officer decides to pursue a professional development activity, these are the Professional
          Development Packages that are available:
          (a)  PDP 1 (Scholarship) – Full sponsorship of postgraduate degree course fees on full-pay leave
          (b)  PDP 2 (Award) – Full sponsorship of Masterʼs and Bachelorʼs degree course fees on
                half-pay leave
          (c)  PDP 3 / PDP 3-Plus (Subsidy) – Full/Partial subsidy of course fees for part-time studies,
                or full-time studies on no-pay leave
          (d)  PDP 4 (Lifelong Learning Award) – Financial support for modular courses.

                         Professional Development Leave (PDL)
          Currently, there are 3 options of Professional Development Leave. The PDLʼs are:
          (a)  Full-pay
          (b)  Half-pay
          (c)  No-pay

                   The Administration of Gift Valuation and Handling
          Soliciting of Gifts: Officers are not allowed to solicit gifts, discounts or any special favours
          from manufacturers, retailers and members of the Public on account of their official capacity.
          Unsolicited Gifts: Unsolicited gifts offered to an officer on account of his official position or
          official work area are to be declined at the onset. Where, because of circumstances, it is
          impractical or inappropriate to refuse the gift, the officer may accept the gift but he has to
          declare it immediately using the appropriate form. The officer may be allowed to retain the git
          with or without payment depending on the value of the gift on condition that it does not result
          in possible conflict of interest, upon approval from the Principal/ Branch Head.
          In general officers should not accept expensive gifts from students. Nonetheless, they may
