Leave of Absence
       In  lieu  of  annual  Vacation  Leave,  an  EO  on  School  Holidays  scheme  is  eligible  for  school
       holidays. If the EO wishes to travel overseas during the school holidays when he is not required
       for duty, he is to seek permission from his Principal in advance before travelling.


                                   Pilgrimage Leave
                                   A Muslim officer is entitled for Pilgrimage leave if you
                                   are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of
                                   Singapore. Additionally you need to have completed 15
                                   years of continued service. This entitlement is given
                                   once in the span of your career with MOE.
                                   You will need to submit your application to your Princi-
                                   pal/ Branch Head and furnish them with sufficient
                                   documentary evidence.



       Part-Time Employment Scheme (PTES)
       Eligibility Criteria:                               Who is
       (a)  Officers with children aged 12 years old and below;  eligible
       (b)  Officers pursuing local studies in a relevant area of study
       (c)  Officers who have medical conditions
       (d)  Officers who have immediate family members with
             conditions that require care


             Do you know that immediate family members
                   consist of spouse, children, parents
                  (including step parents and in-laws)


       As for the part-time work, officers may choose one of the following four options:

       (a)  4/5 workload (80%)
       (b)  3/5 workload (60%)
       (c)  1/2 workload (50%)
       (d)  2/5 workload (40%)

       Do ensure that you discuss with your schools leaders on your plans and request.
