widths. The 0" refers to the left margin. The next figure refers to the width of the first col-
umn, etc. Changing these amounts will adjust the width of the columns individually.
Alternatively, you can drag out the length of the entire Combo Box, which will increase
the width of all columns proportionately.
12. We need to extend the price of the ordered surfboard. To do this, we will have to
create a new field. Right-click on the subform's selector box (at the intersection of the
two rulers) and select Properties from the pull-down menu. Click on All tab. Click on the
Build . button next to the Record Source.
13. Scroll to the right of the design grid until you reach an open column. Click in the
Field cell of this column and click on the Build' icon. Type Extension: in the upper
part of the window. Double-click on the Tables selection in the far left lower window and
select the Sales Inventory Table. Double-click on QuantityOrdered. Click on * and type
(. Select the Inventory Table. Double-click on InventoryPrice. Type +. Select the Extras
Table in the far left lower window. Double-click on ExtrasPrice. Type). Remove the
«Expr» that was automatically inserted just after the Extension field name from the
expression. Click OK to close the Express Builder.

14. Click on Run and close and save the changes made to the SQL statement by
clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner of the Query Builder window. Close the
