Engine Harness

• The only ground to the transom and the sterndrive is provided by the ground wire in the transom harness through the
bonding circuit. The eye terminal on the transom harness ground wire must be secured under the bonding screw as shown.

NOTE: In some cases a ground wire may still be in place from the transom plate to the flywheel housing. The ground wire
in the new engine transom harness must still be connected as shown.
