• The tool is used to position the shift linkage in the neutral position. The remote control cable brass barrel is then adjusted
to align the cable with the attaching points. The backlash must be centered.

• The tool is also used to check for proper travel in forward gear. The adjustable stud can be repositioned if needed to
achieve proper travel.
