• Bravo One/Two—If the shift cable end guide moves in direction B when the control lever is placed in FORWARD, the
remote control is set up for LEFT‑HAND (LH) propeller rotation.

• Bravo Three—Front propeller on sterndrive unit is always LH rotation and the rear propeller is always RH rotation. The shift
cable end guide must move in direction A, when the control lever is placed in the FORWARD gear position.

IMPORTANT: When installing shift cables, ensure that the cables are routed in such a way as to avoid sharp bends and/or
contact with moving parts. Do not fasten any items to the shift cables.
• The control must be set up to provide the following cable motion:

a - For Alpha, Bravo One, and Bravo Two with standard RH rotation and all Bravo Three
b - For Alpha, Bravo One, and Bravo Two with LH rotation

• A neutral start safety switch in the remote control is required.
Quicksilver Cable Measurement
Cable attaching points are shown on the installation drawings. Determine the cable length requirements as follows:
1. Add dimensions A‑B‑C in mm (inches) as shown below.
NOTE: On dual installations, dimension "b" is measured from the gunwale to each engine centerline.
2. Divide by 31 cm (12 in.). Round up to nearest foot.
3. This is the length in feet for ordering. Order a cable with the same suffix number as the measurement.

Example: If the measurement obtained is 4.72 m (15 ft 6
in.), round to 4.88 m (16 ft), order cable xxxxxA16.
