If an incident should reoccur, the Transport Office will then issue
             nd
a 2 Letter Notification inviting you to a Strategy Meeting with a
Transport Officer and other professionals. Depending on the
outcome of the meeting and your child’s behaviour, you may
                     rd
receive a 3 before your child’s transport may be withdrawn for
up to 3 days (or as required).

If the matter is of a serious nature that could have the potential
of causing harm, distress or injury to any persons, transport may
be suspended immediately until a strategy meeting is arranged.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CHILD IS UNABLE TO GO SCHOOL?

If your child is unable to go to school, you must firstly inform
your passenger assistant and then the Transport Office before
7:00am on the day of absence. Repeated failure to notify may
         incur a charge.

You must contact the Transport Office a day before your child
will be returning to school to rearrange their transport. Transport
may not be able to collect your child unless you contact us to
ensure arrangements are put in place.

         SICKNESS PROCEDURE

             • If your child is unwell at school, and needs to be collected
earlier than usual, you will need to make your own
                arrangements to collect your child.

             • If your child has been sick on transport, you are expected
to keep your child at home for 24 hours for observation
and inform Transport Office once your child is feeling
better and ready to resume on Home to School Transport.
