WHAT HAPPENS IF THE TRANSPORT DOES NOT ARRIVE ON
        TIME?

An approximate time for collection and drop-off of your child will
be confirmed by the Passenger Assistant after the first day on
transport. Every effort is made to keep to this time however,
factors beyond our control such as heavy traffic, mechanical
faults or breakdown of the vehicles, road maintenance/closures
etc may cause delays on occasions.

The Passenger Assistant or Transport Office will make every
effort to let you know of any delays. Your passenger assistant
will endeavour to contact you 15 minutes prior to arrival and will
notify you directly of any delays.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE NOT AT HOME TO COLLECT YOUR
        CHILD?

When your child is returned home each evening, you must
ensure there is a responsible adult at home to receive your child
        from 3:00pm onwards.

If the Passenger Assistant cannot deliver your child home after
school due to no responsible adult being at home, a note will be
put through your door to notify you before continuing with the
journey to deliver the remaining children to their addresses.

We understand that long periods of waiting can cause distress to
some children and therefore kindly ask for your cooperation by
ensuring a responsible adult is at home on time to meet your
        child in the afternoon.

If there is no one at home, with the authorisation of the
Transport Office, the Passenger Assistant will be directed to
        proceed to Cheviot Children’s Centre.
