KNX ADVANCED COURSE

The last possibility with regard to M-Bus is the integration of central units that collect and
process the energy consumption. These already include - like those dealt with in the
chapters HVAC or Security Technology - implemented configurations for consumption-
based billing with various types of consumption meters like water, heat… These are
connected via wM-Bus or a wireless pulse input to the central unit. The central unit can be
remotely accessed via a suitable infrastructure or can alternatively be accessed directly
via a KNX gateway, after which the collected data can then be further processed.
