               An entrepreneur is a person who contributes the development and productivity to adapt the change by accelerating
            the creation, expansion and the implementation of new ideas.  An entrepreneur knows what to do in short, medium
            and long terms, and make plans accordingly. S/he uses unthinkable, unused or different ideaswhile making these plans.
            In short, entrepreneurs are the people who chaseopportunities and take all kinds of risks to put them into practice.
            They keep the competition and bearing power of the organizations on a high leveleven by seeing opportunities in
            situations like chaos, uncertainty and conflicting casesthe company is in. Entrepreneurshipis the process of revealing
            different thingswith added value with which financial gain and personal satisfactionis obtainedby taking financial and
            social risks through allocating the necessary time and effort. Entrepreneurship is a dynamic process involving vision,
            change and creativity factors. It is the creation of new ideas and constructive solutions and activation of these solutions
            in proportion to productivity of the company / organization.
               Green entrepreneurship is one of the factors which will help to prevent environmental deterioration. Green
            entrepreneurs consider the environment as an opportunity for themselves and engage in environmental activities on
            the purpose of public welfare. In today’s changing world, green entrepreneurs and green activities have an important
            place for cleaner and greener World. Green entrepreneurship has the potential to be a catalyst for positive change
            in both economic and environmental areas. Green entrepreneurs think the environmental dimension rather as an
            opportunity than an obstacle and they offer different kind businesses which is environmentally beneficial, socially
            responsible, economically rewarding. The expression “green energy” refers to energy types produced more sensitively
            to the environment. According to the production pattern of energy generation, it is possible to use green energy with
            different costs. The types of green energy defined in European Union law are: “Wind Energy, Hydroelectric energy,
            Solar Energy, Geothermal, Biological waste generated energy”. Green economy and renewable energy, environmentally
            sensitive technologies and renewable energy are seen as the most important components of sustainable development.
               Grant support renewable energy in Turkey is increasing every passing day. The state has succeeded in improving the
            entrepreneurship in this area. Many renewable energy grant schemes, especially solar energy incentive credits to energy
            investments, contribute to the development of the potentials of energy sector investors. Grants and credits given to GES
            investments in particular The TKDK grant credits granted by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and the
            European Union IPARD program grants support the energy sector in a number of areas. The following incentives are
            on the agenda in this area; “Ministry of Economy Investment Incentives (wind energy investment incentives, thermal
            power plant incentives, renewable energy incentives); EU Funds European Union Energy grants and TurSEFF energy
            efficiency  credits;  TTGV  Environmental  Protection  Program  for  Technology  Development  Foundation  of  Turkey
            supports; Ministry of Culture and Tourism support; Development Agencies Grant Supports”.
               This study focused on green energy incentives provided to entrepreneurs in Turkey. First the general literature
            is explained. Then application models are emphasized. Finally the study is completed with the conclusions and
            recommendations.
