Orbits around Earth have become crowded with space
junk ranging from old rocket stages to tiny chips of
paint. Traveling at high speed, this debris could be
a major hazard for new satellites and spacecraft, so
engineers are looking at how to remove the clutter
before space becomes too dangerous to explore.
