The students also agreed that usefulness of Google Classroom (M = 4.30, SD = 0.64)
helped them to be more effective and productive. This shows that Google Classroom
is useful and can save students’ time. Besides that, the resources provided by
lecturers (M = 4.15, SD = 0.57) provided students with information which could help
them in their learning process. This means that Google Classroom gives students the
chances to experience using the system.
Table 2 summarizes the demographic characteristics of students. In this study,
the percentage of participation in terms of gender was male (29.6 %) and female
(70.4%). Approximately 76.5% of the respondents were aged between 19-20, 17.3%
were aged between 21-22, while 6.2% were aged between 23 – 24. Most of
respondents were from PPISMP group (77.8%) while the least respondents were from
PISMP group (22.2%). Approximately 38.3% of the respondents majored in Malay
Language, 28.4% in Islamic Education, 18.5% in TESL and 14.8% in Mathematics.
