Hello everyone, my name is Nur Alyaa Fatihah. I am currently
living my life pursuing my passion for business and continuing
my studies at INTI College Nilai. Studying Business has been
helping me to build skills that will be valuable for me in the
future. These skills like problem-solving, critical and strategic
thinking will allow me to respond to challenges which will be
giving me to make any informed managerial decisions that
consider ethical and social implications.
A little short story about me. I moved to Egypt when I was
twelve years old and lived there for three and a half years. I
settled down at an old magisterial city, Alexandria. A
Mediterranean port city in Egypt and home to The Great
Alexandria Library. During my time there, I participated in
many charity events that were held by my school and even
organized a few events such as Summer Bazaar Charity and
a Winter Charity. To elaborate more, Summer Bazaar is a
fundraising event where students provide services and help
to their visitors. Whereas, Winter Charity is an event for
students to donate any winter or school supplies to those in
need.
As a Third Culture Kid (or TCKs), living and moving around in
several countries ever since I could remember, I have
developed a particular liking for languages and cultures.
Malay and English languages would be no question my
strongest language skill, but this TCKs is also fluent in French
(level B2) as well as enough Arabic to converse with others.
Other than that I have been exposed to diverse groups of
people from different parts of the world which has driven
mine passion for politics or relations between countries.
Hence, I competed in Model United Nations (MUN) a few times
until I decided to take a break for a while to focus on my
study.
I look forward to helping other people and bringing
more to our society. Specifically speaking for people
who are struggling both mentally and emotionally. As I
believe, they’re people who just need extra ca re
together with warmth and love. I, too, want to destroy
stigmas regarding mental health issues to create a
better world, so people can express their issues freely
without getting judged. And together, we can build a
better world so that no one would be l eft b ehind.
