Hurin Haziq Suhaimi is a first-year undergraduate
student in Multimedia University studyi ng C omputer
Science.

Upon completion of the South Australian Certificate
of Education (SACE) programme in Tayl or’s College,
he found himself in a position of uncertainty.
However, with the curious interest and love for
coffee, he was able to acquire a part-time job as a
barista where he excelled and loved the work. That
experience alone plays a crucial part as it guided
him onto the next chapter of his life as well as

polished his skills to prepare him for the upcoming
challenges he will undoubtedly face i n t he f uture.

The decision made to pursue computer sci ence
involved lots of rejection along with understanding
from the world. We live in an unfair world and
although understanding that is easy, accepting it
when experiencing it is not. Therefore, he realises
that learning about computers and computational
systems would provide a huge advantage for him to
help out the world in any way that is required and
helpful for those in need. At the rate the
technologies are developing, it is exciting to see

what the world would be like in 10 ye ars and he
strived to be a part of it.

In addition to that, he also has a huge passion for
sports and has been actively involved since he can
remember. Being active keeps his mind calm and at
peace.
