b) They guard his property when he is careless.
c) They are a refuge for him when he is in danger.

d) They do not leave him in his troubles.

e) They show due respect to other members of his family.

5. เหฏฐิมทิศ (ทิศเบื้องลาง ไดแก คนรับใชและคนงาน เพราะเปนผูชวยทํ าการงานตางๆ เปน
ฐานกํ าลังให — Heññhima-disà: servants and workmen as the nadir)

ก. นายพึงบํ ารุงคนรับใชและคนงาน ผูเปนทิศเบื้องลาง ดังนี้

1) จัดการงานใหทํ าตามความเหมาะสมกับกํ าลังความสามารถ
2) ใหคาจางรางวัลสมควรแกงานและความเปนอยู

3) จัดสวัสดิการดี มีชวยรักษาพยาบาลในยามเจ็บไข เปนตน

4) ไดของแปลกๆ พิเศษมา ก็แบงปนให

5) ใหมีวันหยุดและพักผอนหยอนใจตามโอกาสอันควร
In five ways a master should serve his servants and workmen as the lower quarter:

a) by assigning them work according to their strength.

b) by giving them due food and wages.

c) by caring for them in sickness.
d) by sharing with them unusual luxuries.

e) by giving them holidays and leave at suitable time.

ข. คนรับใชและคนงานยอมอนุเคราะหนาย ดังนี้
1) เริ่มทํ าการงานกอนนาย

2) เลิกงานทีหลังนาย

3) ถือเอาแตของที่นายให

4) ทํ าการงานใหเรียบรอยและดียิ่งขึ้น

5) นํ าเกียรติคุณของนายไปเผยแพร
In five ways his servants and workmen, thus served as the lower quarter, show

their love for him:

a) They get up to work before him.
b) They go to rest after him.

c) They take only what is given to them.

d) They do their work well.
e) They spread about his praise and good name.
