Dean Jackson: 00:33:23 Here's another one. If you don't have their first name or you
can't put the first name in the subject line, here's another one.
We did a travel consultant who helped package trips to Israel
and the Holy Land and so we put "Israel?" in the subject line. "Hi
Rebecca, are you still planning a trip to Israel?" All these people
start replying. When you're looking at that, if somebody is doing
that, they can't help but respond back because it's an unsolved
mystery, right? You're starting this effect now where they need
to know, "Where is this going? Why is she asking this?" Or
"What's gonna be next?" So even if it's reluctantly that they
respond and say yes, or say no, or "we just got back" or
whatever it is, no matter what you're engaged in a dialogue
with people and that's all we're really looking for here.
Dean Jackson: 00:34:19 Here's another one, a real estate investor, Pasadena Property.
"Hi Dean, are you still looking for a cash flowing property?" Take
a second, just in your mind here, and think for yourself what
would be the nine words that you could use if you were going to
send a nine word email to the people who've opted in to your
list, you know? Just take a second and maybe just write those
down because this is gonna be a very simple thing that becomes
this ATM for your business that you'll be able to just kind of go
there and whenever you want to or need to, you could send a
nine word email and drum up some business right away.
Hopefully that some of you might be able to do this over the
next three days, right? How many people see that there's a
possible way that you could send a nine word email like that
and maybe you could do it over the next three days. Anybody
willing to give that a try? That would be exciting to me to see
what happens because I know what happens. I know that when
we send this, I've seen it happen. Yes.
Audience: 00:35:31 Do you gotta warn them that [inaudible 00:35:34]
Dean Jackson: 00:35:34 I gotta warn them, yeah. Warn them [inaudible 00:35:36]. How
many people have sent a nine word email before? Okay and had
some experience where you get a ton of response back? That's
the exciting thing. I love to see that. Here's how this works. I
mentioned I spoke at Dan Kennedy's, I had Shawn Buck, the
newsletter pro. Do you guys know Shawn? He does... they help
people write newsletters and send to their clients. Well Shawn, I
ran into him. I had him experiment the, before we were going to
a super conference, and he sent out 309 emails, got 143
opened. 46% open rate. 31 appointments scheduled and so far
nine sold. $166,000 in annual revenue just from a nine word
email, you know? That's the kind of thing that's kind of exciting.
Now here's what happens as this nine word, I love it because
