4. คนชวนฉิบหาย (อปายสหาย — Apàyasahàya: the leader to destruction) มี
ลักษณะ 4 คือ

1) คอยเปนเพื่อนดื่มนํ้ าเมา

2) คอยเปนเพื่อนเที่ยวกลางคืน
3) คอยเปนเพื่อนเที่ยวดูการเลน

4) คอยเปนเพื่อนไปเลนการพนัน

a) He is your companion when you indulge in drinking.

b) He is your companion when you roam the streets at unseemly hours.
c) He is your companion when you frequent shows and fairs.

d) He is your companion when you indulge in gambling.

1. มิตรอุปการะ (อุปการกะ — Upakàraka: the helper) มีลักษณะ 4 คือ
1) เพื่อนประมาท ชวยรักษาเพื่อน

2) เพื่อนประมาท ชวยรักษาทรัพยสินของเพื่อน

3) เมื่อมีภัย เปนที่พึ่งพํ านักได
4) มีกิจจํ าเปน ชวยออกทรัพยใหเกินกวาที่ออกปาก

a) He guards you when you are off your guard.

b) He guards your property when you are off your guard.

c) He is a refuge to you when you are in danger.

d) He provides a double supply of what you may ask in time of need.
2. มิตรรวมสุขรวมทุกข (สมานสุขทุกข — Samànasukhadukkha: the man who is the

same in weal and woe) มีลักษณะ 4 คือ

1) บอกความลับแกเพื่อน
2) ปดความลับของเพื่อน

3) มีภัยอันตราย ไมละทิ้ง
