The following is a summary of implementation under the five core Project activities:

Core Project Activity # 1: Develop and Implement a Time Bank for aging society.

1) Under the process of creating awareness and being aware of how Thai society is aging,

the Project educated the target population about the concepts and principles of a ‘Time Bank’ as

one strategy to accommodate an aged society. The Project convened 91 meetings and field visits
for the Project Task Force. Of these, 45 activities were organized on site, and 46 were online, virtual

events. For all the activities, there was a total of 174 unique participants (comprising 958 person-

participations). This activity built awareness of the situation of the aged society, as well as how to

advocate the Time Bank strategy to accommodate an aged society. When classified by age group, it

was found that 4% were age 6-20 years, 59% were age 21-59 years, and 36% were age 60 years or
over.

These events continued throughout the duration of implementation to develop Time Banks

for all age groups in Pasi Charoen District. The Project used integrated management during outbreaks

of Covid-19 with the organization of quarantine and stay-at-home mandates (e.g., Home Isolation

and Community Isolation, or HI, CI) in the following communities:

• Poon Bamphen Community, Khlong Khwang Sub-district

• Khlong Lat Phachi Community, Bang Duan Sub-district

• Lertsuksom Community, Bang Duan Sub-district

• Pekong Ruamjai Community, Bang Duan Sub-district

• Wat Chanpradittharam Community, District 1, Village No. 3, Bang Duan Sub-district

• Chantharangsee Community, Bang Duan Sub-district

• Wat Chanpradittharam Community, District 5, Bang Duan Sub-district (Lan Sai)

• Sirin and Friends Community, Bang Chak Sub-district

• Gamma Industries Co., Ltd., Pak Klong Pasi Charoen Sub-district
